Gunman arrested!
Police in Nkhata Bay have taken into custody a 46-year-old man Chipiliro Banda, for reportedly possessing an antique firearm without the necessary permit.
The spokesperson for Nkhata Bay Police, Enala Kalua, stated that law enforcement received information indicating that the suspect was in possession of an antique firearm without a permit and was concealing it in his residence.
Kalua also mentioned that through diligent intelligence gathering, a team of detectives from the Tukombo Police Unit successfully apprehended the suspect and retrieved the firearm from his home.
