Fuel prices drop in Malawi

The Malawi Energy Regulatory Authority (MERA) has announced a reduction in fuel prices, effective today.

The price of petrol has been reduced from K6,209 per litre to K5,619 per litre, representing a(- 9.50%) decrease.

Diesel has dropped from K6,687 per litre to K6,306 per litre, representing a (-5.70%) decrease.

Meanwhile, kerosene has been reduced from K5,709 per litre to K4,771 per litre, representing a (-16.43%) decrease.

This follows a statement signed by the Board Chairperson of the MERA , Lucas Kondowe.
