Sex worker beats customer who delayed to ‘finish marathon’

Police in Nkhotakota have arrested a 25-year-old woman identified as Hawa Mafukeni on allegations of injuring a customer on the head with an empty bottle during a dispute at Jefu Rest House when the man took too long with her.

As per Nkhotakota police spokesperson Chisomo Chuma, both the suspect and the victim had consented to engage in sexual relations, but a disagreement ensued when the victim overstayed the agreed duration.

The suspect allegedly requested to cease the activity, but the victim retaliated by slapping her, which escalated into a physical confrontation.

In the course of the fight, the suspect is said to have struck the victim on the head with a bottle, resulting in a significant injury.

The victim received initial treatment at Nkhotakota District Hospital before being transferred to Kamuzu Central Hospital for additional medical attention.

Mafukeni, hailing from Chaphala Village in Salima District, is anticipated to appear in court shortly to face the charges.
