The Malawi Police Service (MPS) has arrested Emmanuel Soko aged 39 for allegedly forging and circulating a fake press release bearing the credentials of the Office of the President and Cabinet (OPC).

Police in Kasungu District have recovered 30 cattle stolen last month from John Mfumu Village, under Traditional Authority Mnyanja, and arrested two suspects in connection with the theft.

Six people have been killed through mob justice in Ntcheu District between January and October this year, with police recording 28 related cases during the period.
