Powerhouse International Church launches initiative to empower members
In a bid to support its members in need, Powerhouse International Church has partnered with SMEDI to provide training and financial assistance to members without income-generating activities.
Reverend Dr. Clement Nkhoma, the church’s founder and overseer, announced the initiative, stating, “This week we have engaged SMEDI to train church members who have no income-generating activities. The church will give them a small capital in groups so that homecells can also be turned into income-generating centres.”

Reverend Nkhoma emphasized the biblical basis for the initiative, citing scriptures such as Galatians 2:10, James 2:15-16, Acts 6:1, and James 1:27.
“The Bible is very clear on helping each other, and we will do it,” he said.
The church aims to support 200 members, with the goal of turning them into millionaires within three years.
Reverend Nkhoma expressed confidence in the initiative’s success, saying, “We will raise 200 church members from zero to millionaires in 3 years. With the help of God and a good monitoring system in place, we will make it in Jesus’ Name.”
The church’s initiative has generated excitement among members, who are eager to take advantage of the opportunity to improve their livelihoods.
