Chimwendo ARRESTED !
Police in Lilongwe have arrested Richard Chimwendo Banda, Malawi Congress Party (MCP) Secretary General.
Police have not yet given details on charges or location provided.
Earlier, Vitumbiko Mumba, former Minister of Trade and Industry, was also arrested.
Police spokesperson Lael Chimtembo confirmed the arrests, citing ongoing investigations.
