Man wanting to be sweet dies in sex plan

A man identified as Bernado Khinda Chilichawo, aged 48, has died during sexual activity after allegedly consuming an energy drink to add energy and sweetness at a rest house in the Dowa district.

According to police reports, Chilichawo and his 21-year-old girlfriend had reserved a room at a particular rest house, and later ventured out before he returned with two bottles of juice.

Alice Sitima, the publicist for Dowa police, stated that after drinking the first bottle, Chilichawo engaged in sexual intercourse without any issues, but after consuming the second bottle, he collapsed.

She recounted that the girlfriend alerted the housekeepers, who quickly transported him to Blessings Private Hospital, where he was declared dead upon arrival.

A postmortem examination revealed that Chilichawo, from Kalongola village in the Traditional Authority Dzoole area of the district, died from cardiac failure as a result of high blood pressure.
