Three year old girl dies ion a terrible accident

A three-year-old girl named Uchizi Nyondo has died at Rumphi District Hospital while undergoing treatment after being struck by a motor vehicle in Ngolombe area.

Rumphi Police Station spokesperson Noel Kamchenga says the young girl was crossing the Karonga-Mzuzu M1 Road when she was hit by a Honda Step Wagon.

He stated that the collision resulted in her suffering internal injuries, and she was quickly taken to the hospital, where she ultimately succumbed to her injuries while receiving care.

According to Kamchenga, the driver, Davie Kanyuka Msiska, lost control of the vehicle, leading to the accident.

He also mentioned that four passengers in the vehicle sustained minor injuries and were treated as outpatients.

Uchizi was from Kayuni Village, which falls under Traditional Authority Mwankhunikira in Rumphi.
