Over 190 thousand students await MSCE from tomorrow
A total of 197,502 candidates are expected to sit for the Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE) examinations, which are set to begin tomorrow until 24 July 2026.
According to the Malawi National Examinations Board (MANEB), the 197,502 registered candidates this year comprise 94,521 females and 102,981 males.
The total represents a drop from last year’s entry.
In 2025, 202,940 candidates registered for the MSCE, including 97,489 females and 105,451 males.
MANEB has therefore recorded a decrease in the overall number of students sitting the examinations compared to 2025.
