No more: Skyway University de-registered

The National Council for Higher Education (NCHE) has deregistered Skyway University, prompting the institution to suspend classes from July 7 until further notice.

In a notice Vice Chancellor Dr. Wilfred Lipita said the university would not conduct classes from July 7, 2026, until further notice as management works to address issues surrounding the deregistration.

Meanwhile, the university has assured students and graduates that the deregistration will not affect the validity of certificates, diplomas, degrees, or any other academic qualifications awarded before the publication of the NCHE’s decision.
