Bad Romance: Woman kills husband after disagreement
Police in Mponela, Dowa, have arrested a woman identified as Debora Frank for allegedly killing her husband identified as, Ndolo Zipi, aged 42 following a marital disagreement.
Mponela Police spokesperson Macpatson Msadala said the incident happened at Mponela trading centre in Dowa, where the couple reportedly had an argument over reasons known to them before the disagreement turned physical.
Msadala said during the fight, the suspect allegedly produced a knife and stabbed her husband in the stomach.
Meanwhile, he said well-wishers rushed Zipi to Mponela District Hospital, where he died while receiving treatment.
The suspect is currently in police custody, while the deceased’s body has been taken to the mortuary at Mponela District Hospital.
