”To much”-Rumphi man dies in action with prostitute

A 35-year-old man died finally been laid to rest in Rumphi after dying during a lovely time with a prostitute in Rumphi district.

The deceased has been identified as Timothy Mkandawire from Mputa Village under Traditional Authority Chikulamayembe in the district.

According to Rumphi Police Station spokesperson Noel Kamchenga, Mkandawire left his home at approximately 04:00 hours and booked a room at Sanga Resthouse for a sexual encounter with a commercial sex worker.

“During the act, Mkandawire started groaning and suddenly stopped breathing,” Kamchenga stated.

The woman immediately raised the alarm and notified both the lodge’s watchman and the owner, who then reported the matter to local authorities.

Police officers dispatched to the scene found Mkandawire’s body lying on the bed. He was transported to Rumphi District Hospital, where a postmortem examination was conducted.

Medical personnel certified that the cause of death was hypoxia (severe breathing difficulties) triggered by acute hypoglycemia (dangerously low blood sugar). Police have confirmed that no foul play is suspected.
