Bishop Medram exonerated!

Sometimes, the greatest pain lies not only in being accused of something you did not do, but in watching the world form its judgment before you are given a fair chance to speak.

For Bishop Medram Chirwa, the unfolding murder controversy raises difficult questions about justice, the presumption of innocence, and the human cost of public accusations.

Questions have also emerged regarding Bishop Chirwa’s whereabouts during the periods covered by the allegations. According to information presented by his defenders, he was not in Lilongwe during the times associated with the indicators cited in the charge sheet.

During a visit to Maula Prison, our reporter found Bishop Chirwa relaxed, holding his Bible, smiling, and speaking with confidence about his situation far from appearing overwhelmed by the controversy.

Faces a facelift!

“I know I didn’t do it. Why should I be worried? Look at me!” stressed Medram. He went on to joke that he was even gaining weight, a testament to his peace of mind.

His words, delivered with a smile, offered a glimpse of a man determined not to allow the allegations surrounding him to rob him of his inner peace.

The public deserves clarity. Investigators and the courts must establish what happened, who was responsible, and whether the allegations against each individual are supported by credible evidence.
