Man kills friend over headset price

Police have taken into custody a 21-year-old individual named Steven Reuben, who is accused of murdering his friend, Horseback Kambewa, following a dispute regarding the value of a headset.

Jabulani Ng’oma, the Publicist for Nsanje Police says, Kambewa was enjoying drinks with friends at a local tavern when he expressed interest in purchasing a headset owned by the suspect and began negotiating the price.

However, a disagreement ensued, escalating into a quarrel and physical altercation.Ng’oma reported that the suspect allegedly drew a sharp knife and stabbed Kambewa on the left side of his chest, after which Kambewa managed to walk a short distance before collapsing.

Ng’oma also mentioned that medical staff at Nsanje District Hospital confirmed that the cause of death was internal bleeding.
