Malawi set sights on Ethiopia

The Malawi National Football Team, is set to play against Ethiopia in two friendly international matches next month, as announced today by the Football Association of Malawi (Fam).

The first of these friendly matches is scheduled for June 6, 2026, in Addis Ababa, followed by the second match in the same city just three days later.

Flames coach Kalisto Pasuwa referred to these two matches as an excellent opportunity to prepare for forthcoming international competitions.

The draw for the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations (Afcon) will take place on Monday.
