Temwa TWO good!

Malawian forward Temwa Chawinga netted two goals as Kansas City Current defeated Houston Dash 3-0 at CPKC Stadium on last night.

With this performance, Temwa has increased her total to five goals in the National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) this season, following her hat trick last week.

She is currently three goals behind Zambian striker Barbara Banda in the race for the golden boot.Temwa has scored a total of 40 goals in the NWSL regular season.

Furthermore, she has achieved 21 goals at CPKC Stadium, ranking as the third highest by any NWSL player at a single venue in the league’s history.

Temwa is behind only Christine Sinclair and Marta.
