Nine health workers survive after boat capsizes

Authorities have successfully rescued nine employees from the Zomba District Health Office (DHO) and are currently looking for one additional individual after a boat they were in capsized.

Arnold Mndalira, the spokesperson for the DHO in Zomba District, reported that the incident occurred close to Chalo Hills on Lake Chilwa in Zomba.

The rescue efforts are still in progress, as one person is still unaccounted for.

The nine workers who were rescued are safe and have returned to their residences.
