Man sent to prison for bad manners

The Nkhunga First Grade Magistrate Court has sentenced 27-year-old Sandram Lyson to three years of hard labor after for engaging in sexual acts with a goat.

State prosecutor Sergeant Mussa Samuten informed the court that the incident occurred on May 26 of this year at Chamalala Village, where Lyson was apprehended in the act.

During the proceedings, Lyson admitted to the charge and requested leniency from the court, claiming that his actions were unintentional due to uncontrollable sexual urges, which led him to engage with an animal that was nearby.

Nevertheless, while delivering the sentence, First Grade Magistrate Kingsley Buleya concurred with the prosecution and imposed a three-year prison term with hard labor on Lyson.

Lyson hails from Nkhanje Village, located within the jurisdiction of Traditional Authority Mwanza in Salima District.
