Tanker driver dies in a terrible accident

A tanker driver, whose identity remains unknown, has tragically lost his life after the tanker he was operating ignited following a road collision in Chiradzulu during the early hours of today.

As reported by the Chiradzulu Police, the incident took place at approximately 12:10 a.m. on the Chiradzulu–Phalombe Road.

Authorities indicate that the driver was traveling from Chiradzulu Boma towards Phalombe when he reached Chamdimbo, where he was unable to navigate a sharp curve and collided with a road embankment.

This collision resulted in the tanker catching fire, which trapped the driver inside.The driver suffered severe injuries and was declared dead upon his arrival at Chiradzulu District Hospital.

The police have not yet identified the deceased, and investigations into the circumstances surrounding the accident are ongoing.
