FINALLY: Zonyera Zambuzi is now Chief Kachindamoto

Enock Zonyera Zambuzi Kalapino has now been installed as Senior Chief Kachindamoto at a ceremony which took place in Dedza.

This follows the death of Theresa Kachindamoto who died last year on August 7.

He is the son of Abraham, the elder brother of Theresa’s father, making him the rightful heir according to Maseko Ngoni tradition.

The 61-year-old chief was sworn in as the new Chief and the guest of honour was Local Government Minister Ben Phiri.
