Mvungi modernizing the labour space in Malawi

Mvungi Job Master officials report that they are focused on streamlining and modernizing the employment sector, encompassing everything from job searching and recruitment to employee management, payroll systems, and career development.

Chikondi Willie, the chief executive officer of the AI-driven platform, states that they are transforming the way job seekers, employers, HR managers, and career developers interact, consolidating recruitment, payroll, and workforce management into a single platform.

Willie further mentions that since its launch in October of the previous year, Mvungi Job Master has successfully registered over 6,000 job seekers, with approximately 30 new users joining daily and more than 60 successful job placements to date.

“The platform addresses persistent challenges in Malawi’s job market, such as repetitive manual applications, limited access to opportunities, and fragmented recruitment processes. We are in a digital age, and it is essential for everyone to adapt to it,” emphasizes Willie.
