Sand Music Festival returns after 2 years

The Sand Music Festival is set to return this year after a two-year break.

The festival, organised by Impakt Events, will take place at Sunbird Nkopola in Mangochi from September 25 to 27.

Meanwhile,this will be the first edition of the festival since the death of Impakt Events founder Lucius “Soldier” Banda two years ago.

Lucius Banda’s son, Johnny Zembani, said preparations for the festival are currently underway.

The festival has been one of Malawi’s biggest music events, attracting local and international artists as well as music fans.
