Woman dies after drinking pesticides
A 51-year-old woman, Judith Suzi Banda, of Dambe Village, Traditional Authority Mpando in Ntcheu District, has died after allegedly consuming pesticides.
Central West Region Police public relations officer Foster Benjamin, has confirmed the incident.
According to police, the incident occurred on Saturday, August 1, at Njonja Training Centre in Dedza District.
Meanwhile,the deceased was the wife of a police officer stationed at Njonja Police Unit in Dedza.
Preliminary investigations suggest that the incident may have been linked to domestic differences between the couple.
