Brian Banda burial, this Monday
The remains of the late Director General of the Malawi Broadcasting Corporation (MBC), Brian Banda, will be interred on Monday, August 10, 2026.
As stated by Chisomo Mwamadi, the Public Relations and Customer Affairs Manager at MBC, the funeral schedule for the late Banda reveals that on Sunday, August 9, 2026, his body will be transported from Mthunzi Mortuary at 11 am to the Word of Faith Church located in Chilobwe, Blantyre, where a church service will take place.
On Monday, August 10, 2026, Brian Banda will be laid to rest at M’banda Village in Chileka, situated just a few kilometers beyond Bakili Muluzi International Airport in Blantyre.
