Karonga, Wanderers into Airtel top 8 semis
Karonga United are into the semi-finals of the Airtel Top 8 after a stunning 3-0 win over Silver Strikers at Karonga Stadium on.
The Northern Region side overturned a 2-0 first-leg deficit to progress 3-2 on aggregate.
Lenox Kiwambe opened the scoring in the 61st minute, assisted by Godfrey Sibale.
Sibale then leveled the aggregate in the 68th minute with an assist from Kiwambe before he completed the comeback in the 83rd minute, set up by William Mwalwimba.
In the other quarter-final, Blantyre giants Mighty Wanderers also booked their place in the last four after beating Creck SC 3-1 on aggregate.
