Wanderers suspend coach Bob Mpinganjira

The Mighty Wanderers FC leadership has suspended head coach Bob Mpinganjira with immediate effect.

In a press statement, Wanderers Board Secretary Chancy Gondwe said the club will announce an interim head coach within the next 48 hours and communicate any changes to the composition of the technical panel.

The suspension comes shortly after Wanderers Airtel top 8 trophy defeat to Ekhaya FC 2-1.

Wanderers FC last won the Airtel Top 8 trophy on December 17, 2022, when they defeated Nyasa Big Bullets on penalties following a goalless draw at Bingu National Stadium.
